A Book Written by the Officer Shot in the Breonna Taylor Incident - The Truth You Have Not Heard.

Last week I spoke at the Tennessee Narcotics Officers Association conference in Knoxville.  Also speaking was John Mattingly, the officer who was shot on the Breonna Taylor incident in Louisville, Kentucky.  I had the pleasure of having dinner with John and his wife, but more importantly, I was privileged to hear him speak on the truth behind that tragic incident.  John delivered a tremendous presentation and every officer around me was infuriated when we heard the truth – which was markedly different than the narrative portrayed in the media. 

John has a book coming out (published by Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire after Simon & Schuster dropped the project).  John’s book was released for pre-order this week.  I am very hopeful we will get John to Oklahoma – he was a tremendous speaker with a powerful message. 

In full disclosure, I have kept in regular contact with John (recently retired and transitioning into an author, speaker, and public safety advocate), and consider him a law enforcement brother, solid man, and a friend. I can’t wait to get his book
